This album emphasizes works for oboe solo by Greek composers in world-premiere recordings and picks up the thread of the album “metamorphosis.”

 

All the pieces marvelously highlight the oboe’s expressive character -often in a highly virtuosic way- and they constitute an inspiring addition to the repertoire.

 

The acoustics of the recording hall provided an interactive sound quality and therefore, an element of theatricality is inherent in the flow of this anthology.
